In 2023, among many other things I:
- Bought a nice wallet to hold my 9 (!) credit cards
- Read 7 books this year. Half in French, half Sanderson ♥
- Built a Stable Diffusion bot using serverless GPUs from Modal.com
- Went for Kayaking out in the open ocean which ended up being one of the most reflective experiences I’ve had
- Took the Test de Connaissance du Français and scored a B2
- Went for a Formula E race
- Built my very own mechanical keyboard
- Started intermittent fasting
- Bought a nice watch for myself
- Went to an Opera performance
- Read Solo Levelling
- Built 3 x LLaMA models to replace dormant Telegram / IRC users
- Met 3 friends from IRC and 9 from Telegram in the meatspace ♥
- Visited Goa for the 2nd year in a row
- Went to a concert by The Strokes
- Visited 5 countries
- Wrote 2 blog posts
This year’s retrospective is more of a log than an introspection. I worked far too much this year and took far too few breaks.
